gotta disagree the "end lifers" as you call them have never advocated starvation, except as the only alternative left by the right to lifers. you know that without the right defining it as murder, many on the left would advocate more humane methods to end this sort of pain and suffering. and the family caught in the middle - I never saw that. from a legal standpoint, all that was left of the family was the husband. the republicons jumps all over his legal right by bringing in other relatives, all for their nonsensical media show Which demonstrated how hell bent the 'end lifers' were to push their agenda. They were willing to let a person starve to fucking death. The other side is so hell bent 180 degrees opposed that they won't allow physician assisted euthanasia. And technically speaking, you are correct that the only family member was the husband, but parental emotions don't cease immediately after 'I do'.

So then she was murdered? If she was breathing she was alive. no she was a brain dead piece of meat who was being kept alive by extraordinary means and as per thousands of similar cases, her family wanted to comply with her wishes to prevent this but the cons needed another political slogan No her family wanted her to live, her scumbag husband who re-married. However once again she was breathing so she was ALIVE. You can't have it both ways. Oops sorry you are a lefty and can make up crap as you go. Ok I'll throw a bone. It was Reagans fault. Lefty slogan: "Who cares the bitch is costing us"

Are you saying the unborn are dead? No.. but the bible does say that they are not alive until . . . . “The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being” that was before science.

The autopsy revealed that her brain was the size of a softball. Only pure reptilian brain functions, and those a fluke of nature, were maintaining basic involuntary functions. Call it starvation if you like, it only took what...a few days off machinery for her to pass. She never felt a thing.

That would be a hilarious line if it weren't for the fact that I know Koller is dumb enough to believe it

Lefty slogan: "Who cares the bitch is costing us" sorry dk but you are so very wrong - as usual but also - as usual - when the law doesn't suit you - you just ignore the law her husband wanted to carry out her wishes and - like you - she didn't have a brain

No her family wanted her to live, her scumbag husband who re-married. Michael Schiavo remarried almost 10 months AFTER his wife Terri died.. Your inability to remember events as they actually occurred is at the root of your conservatism...

Good Topic. I agree the decision to end a life should be left to the patient, patients family, and doctor. The government should stay out of it.

Dr. Jack Kevorkian makes more sense than any member of our government, yet they get to make the calls between a patients right to die. I believe their are many in the medical field that agree with Dr. Kevorkian but because their hands are tied and they would risk losing everything they worked for they will not take a stand. If I ever get too sick to enjoy life I would hope I could find a doctor to keep me 100% comfortable at all times. Being forced to suffer worse than any dog would have to suffer, makes me feel sick. I would love to see our Federal Government out of all decisions made by a doctor. I believe the doctors could fix most of our health care problems if the government didn't tell them what they can and cannot do
